Living and working in Bristol
Bristol is a vibrant and historic city offering a range of things to do and see. The city centre and waterfront area is currently undergoing extensive redevelopment that will ultimately see a vastly improved shopping and recreation area for Bristol.
Another major benefit to living and working in and around Bristol is the close proximity to the coast and the countryside. There are good rail links to the South West and beyond as well as the convenience of an international airport on your doorstep.
Bristol can boast many awarding winning well-known attractions such as the SS Great Britain and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. We have a number of museums and theatres as well as @ Bristol, a 21st century science centre, situated on the waterfront.
There are a range of shopping areas to explore including Broadmead in the centre, the Mall on the outskirts of the city at Cribbs Causeway and smaller areas such as Park Street, the Triangle, St. Nicholas' Market and Corn Street. Clifton Village also has lots to offer in the way of boutiques, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Durdham Downs - The Downs consist of 400 acres of grassland. It has a rich history and is free to all. Clifton and Durdham Downs stretch from the spectacular cliffs of the Avon Gorge to the edge of the city's houses.
Bristol Zoo Gardens - Awarded 'Zoo of the Year 2004' by the Good Britain Guide, Bristol Zoo Gardens has a reputation for excellence, innovation, and dedication to conservation. It's the fifth oldest zoo in the world and the oldest outside of a capital city.
Ashton Court including Ashton Court Mansion - The 840 surrounding acres is a mixture of woodland and open countryside. There are steep grassy slopes, plantations of native and ornamental trees and a deer park.
Famous events in Bristol - Bristol plays host to a variety of internationally renowned events such as the Balloon Fiesta, the Kite Festival and the Festival of the Sea down by the docks.
